The Axis of Perdition - Urfe

When you are out, we are in.

A terrifying dark ambient album that digs down deep into the psyche and the traumatic events that shape a person. What do your demons look like?

And God said, "Fiat Lux!" And there was light upon the Earth...

Offensive you say?

Band: Nunwhore Commando 666
Album: Home Sweet Home
Genre: Grind / Electronica / Industrial

Download (Windiafire)

Notes:
Offensive, that word pretty much sums up the entire band, but what can I say? I pretty much like it, although I have not listen to this for quite some time.....until now of course.

Demon Lord Sarcofuck 666 is also the vocalist for the German Grind bands Libido Airbag and Gut.

Erik calls it scenegrind, and I can understand what he means since it is totally, TOTALLY different from the Grind the oldies used to know.

If you're looking for some new stuff in the vein of Extreme Noise Terror, Sore Throat, Napalm Death or pre-amott era Carcass, then this isn't for you. But if you're looking for some stuff like Libido Airbag or The Berzerker, then feel free to grab this one.

Some also call it porngrind.

Also, uploaded for Arnd.

Anaal Nathrakh

Here is The Codex Necro by English black metal duo Anaal Nathrakh. This album was released in 2001, being their third release. I'm not a huge black metal fan, I don't describe myself as kvlt, grimm, or frostbitten. And as such there isn't much the black metal scene has to offer me, sure I like the artistic sounds of bands such as Nifelheim and Mayhem. And maybe a few others like Godless Cruelty. But I'm no huge on the scene like some of the other contributors/most of the metal forum. However, Anaal Nathrakh is a band I can readily get in to, they mix together industrial, death metal, and grindcore onto a black metal palette. I figured this album would be appropriate since Halloween is fast approaching, and this music is very grimm and kvlt, not so frostbitten, but it is grimm and kvlt.

Rob Zombie

Something I posted a while back on Phantasma Musica:

The Rob Zombie compilation album featuring a lot of Rob's work with White Zombie, and also a lot of his solo career. This album features a lot of music that is industrial in sound and just plain out enjoyable. Rob is a talented musician and performer. I am personally a big fan of some of the songs on this album, some songs make me want to get up and dance, Thunder Kiss '65, Dragula, Living Dead Girl, and Never Gonna Stop (Red Red Kroovy) all prime examples of his great work.

Emilie Autumn - Opheliac

Emilie Autumn

Artist: Emilie Autumn
Album: Opheliac
Genre: Industrial/Gothic/Darwave/Post-Punk
Year: 2007

As Dan continues to plague me with adoration for Emilie Autumn, the more I am obliged to help with his fanboy/fangirlism. Opheliac is by far one of the biggest masterpieces in her entire discography.

This piece somehow managed to move me through my sophmore year of high school, as I remember. To the point it is an orgasmically artistic and downright beautiful album. One of my very favorites in my music library to this day.

Emilie Autumn - Laced/Unlaced

Emilie Autumn

Artist: Emilie Autumn
Album: Laced/Unlaced
Genre: Gothic/Industrial/Darkwave/Post-Punk
Year: 2007

By faggot demand, I've uploaded Miss Autumn's instrumental double album. Emilie Autumn is several things including a musician, lady of numerous instruments and the only fake redhead ever Amanda approved in the history of mankind. The first disc, Laced, is a reissue of her debut album On A Day. Performed in the baroque violin style it is several classical tracks recited by herself along with the occasional harpsichord.

My favorite, however, is Unlaced. Unlaced is the second disc and electric violin entirely written and composed by her, complete with not only electric violin but moar harpsichord, some drums, and electronic noise. Truly both pieces are beautiful; Laced I use to relax and Unlaced to stir up inspiration and energy while drawing or painting or whatever the fuck I do.

Anyways, do I recommend it? Yes. Do I need to post some Traditional Goth Rock and friends rather than this new-fangled techno blahdedah? Yes. Still reccommend it though, more than anything else.

Dammit, Amanda.
