time to finish what I've started

I feel like I cheated you all out of greatness by leaving the rest of the material by Totalt Jävla Mörker out of the original post, so here is the discography.

Acrid - hard fucking core

ARTIST: Acrid
ALBUM: Eighty-Six 12" + split w/ Left For Dead
NATIONALITY: Burlington, ON, Canada
GENRE: hardcore punk, grind

I believe I have found one of the most pissed off, heavy, fast, and abrasive bands in all of hardcore punk. Grinding hardcore with a sludgy sting, these guys played with the likes of Assuck and Charles Bronson back in 1998. Five-piece, female bassist, groovy distorted as fuck guitars, and a vocalist (and back-up) with glass in his screaming throat. Canadians with an overflow of hate, they show plenty of metal influence and keep every song interesting with pounding riffs and solid song structure. It also seems that the drummer actively melds well into the sound of the rest of the band, not merely blast-beatting away.

Cult of Luna

Discography stolen from the Stormblog.
Phil has this to say about CoL:
Cult of Luna are an eight-piece band from Sweden. Their initial sound is that of crushing Doom Metal, but they later mellow out into Sludge similar to that of Jesu, Isis, Neurosis, and Callisto. Hell, if you like any of those bands, you'll like Cult of Luna. I've given you their discography. I haven't listened to their newest album, Eternal Kingdom, yet, but I recommend The Beyond and Somewhere Along the Highway for starters.

BIO
I began Krohm in 1995 with the intention to write the darkest, most depressing and moving black metal one could conceive. The first demo "Slayer of Lost Martyrs" was recorded in 1997 and distributed only to select few. The demo featured a harsh production yet it had a cavernous fullness and distinct musical qualities unlike any contemporary black metal band. The new demo "Crown of the Ancients" was recorded in May of 2000. It displays an evolution in sound with a cleaner production and a more extreme approach. The first full length album "A World Through Dead Eyes" was released in 2004, marking a deeper regression into more miserable, obscure and life-denying music...and this will prove to be only the beginning. Krohm is not part of any present musical movement. Krohm is purely individualistic, personal music, written and performed solely for myself. My only goal is to explore new musical territories while staying true to the ancient feeling of real black metal that only old, black souls can appreciate.

EyeHateGod Discography

Here is the EHG discography I promised.
EHG is the founder of the genre of Sludge Metal which I am in love with. Mike William's has this voice, it's an unintelligible scream, a miserable wail. The music can be very bleak at times, and energetic at others. EHG is a must have for any fan of Sludge, to truly appreciate the genre you have to be able to appreciate its humble NOLA origins.

On another note, the members of EHG, along with other NOLA musician Phil Anselmo have been a huge factor in reviving the New Orleans music scene, in the aftermath of Katrina. Many people lost everything, Mike Williams was no different, after going homeless and getting clean after Phillip bailed him out of a drug charge, he became a leader on the revival scene. If you can't respect that, you can't respect much.

Coroner

I checked these guys out on a whim a few months ago, because for one, I had heard very little by them, and two, a website I buy CDs/movies from had their first four albums on there for pretty reasonable prices, so I decided to look into them.

I was really damn impressed by these guys; catchy memorable riffs, some damn good vocals, all blended well with the bass and drums. I don't think Coroner need much of a
n introduction really, so I'm just gonna end my little rant here, and let you guys enjoy these Technical Thrash gods. :)

Midori! Midori! Midori!

Midori is a Japanese Hardcore/Noise band with Jazz elements.
The Band is absolutely amazing and thanks to Gabe for showing me this band.

Midori has one of the best Female Hardcore vocalists that I have heard, she also wears a Japanese School Girl outfit which is a big plus and a big turn on for me.
The Vocals and the Bass are the ones that really standout on their Releases, but sometimes Midori forgets the fact that they play music and they just bash at their Instruments to make Beautiful Noise, Well, They ARE japanese after all and we all know that when It comes to Noise, you can always trust that the Japanese could pull it off.
Mariko Goto (Vocalist/Guitarist) can shift from singing Japanese Nursery Ryhmes and into some Hardcore vox that Is totally unique.

P.S: The Chick on the Album covers of First, Midori First & Second (Heart) Is Midori's lead singer, Mariko Goto.
