Enslaved - Vertebrae
Band: Enslaved
Album: Vertebrae
Nationality: Norway
Genre: Progressive/Black
Enslaved have, eversince their first output back in the nineties, gained notority and fame amongst the underground. Absolutely fabulous works such as Vikinglir Veldi, Frost, Mardraum:Beyond Within etc... are absolutely essential. Opinions start to divide after the latter on how much one likes their new sound, but don't be put off by this. At first listen this may sound like a perhaps bland album, but soon you'll notice that Enslaved sticks to their roots and has only expanded even MORE, something which I thought was not possible after the height of Ruun. Enjoy this.

Airwolf
Band: Airwolf
Album: Victory Bells
Country: Germany
Genre: Speed Metal
The only release of this criminally unknown band. They have great hooks and wonderful guitar work. Prepare to enjoy.
Airwolf - Victory Bells
Breaker
Artist: Breaker
Album: Dead Rider
Country: Germany
Genre: Heavy/Speed metal
This band has some of the best music, and worst production ever. The rhythm guitar is turned up above the lead guitar AND the vocals. But it's all worth it when you hear their great classic songs. Speed metal at its best.
Breaker - Dead Rider
Bastardos Del Metal
Artist: Bastardos del Metal
Album: Historias de Amor
Country: Spain
Genre: Hardcore/Speed Metal
A simply amazing band. They have a great mix of melody and crushing speedy riffs. They have been one of my favorites for a few years now.
Bastardos Del Metal - Historias de Amor
Mgla - Groza
Artist: Mgla
Album: Groza
Nationality: Poland
Genre: Black Metal
I guess that Mgla should be pretty a fairly well-known band by now. Featuring members of Kriegsmaschine, probably one of the greatest BM bands to have come out of Poland (fuck off, Robbie), hopes are always high for this band. They haven't manage to ever disappoint me.

Coroner
I checked these guys out on a whim a few months ago, because for one, I had heard very little by them, and two, a website I buy CDs/movies from had their first four albums on there for pretty reasonable prices, so I decided to look into them.
I was really damn impressed by these guys; catchy memorable riffs, some damn good vocals, all blended well with the bass and drums. I don't think Coroner need much of an introduction really, so I'm just gonna end my little rant here, and let you guys enjoy these Technical Thrash gods. :)
R.I.P. (1987)
Punishment for Decadence (1988)
No More Color (1989)
Mental Vortex (1991)
Grin (1993)
Coroner (1995)

GOOOOOOD Korea.
Artist: Zihard
Album: Life of Passion
Genre: Heavy Metal/Neo-Classical
Country: Korea, South
Tracklist:
1. Intro
2. Crying in the Midnight
3. Viper
4. Strange Without You
5. Adversity of my Life
6. Once Again
7. Against the World
8. Sad Memories
9. Fires in the Sky
When we hear Neo-Classical we often think of the Japanes and their Neo-Classical/Power Metal bands, never do we think of South Korea, well, Zihard IS a Neo-Classical band, but what makes them different from their Japanese counter parts is the fact that they don't play Power Metal, but rather Good Ole Heavy Metal and they don't just play hurr durr fast guitar classical riffs, but instead they have a softer and manlier approach.
Zihard's Life of Passion isn't anything special and It IS repetitive and Boring for the most part, but I feel that Zihard's next output would improve alot so I still have hopes for this.
Bottom Line is that, If you love Yngwie Malmsteen and have a soft spot for Neo-Classical music, then Zihard's Life of Passion is for you.

Midori! Midori! Midori!
Midori is a Japanese Hardcore/Noise band with Jazz elements.
The Band is absolutely amazing and thanks to Gabe for showing me this band.
Midori has one of the best Female Hardcore vocalists that I have heard, she also wears a Japanese School Girl outfit which is a big plus and a big turn on for me.
The Vocals and the Bass are the ones that really standout on their Releases, but sometimes Midori forgets the fact that they play music and they just bash at their Instruments to make Beautiful Noise, Well, They ARE japanese after all and we all know that when It comes to Noise, you can always trust that the Japanese could pull it off.
Mariko Goto (Vocalist/Guitarist) can shift from singing Japanese Nursery Ryhmes and into some Hardcore vox that Is totally unique.
P.S: The Chick on the Album covers of First, Midori First & Second (Heart) Is Midori's lead singer, Mariko Goto.
Artist: ミドリ (Midori)
Album: Discography
Genre: Hardcore/Punk/Noise/Jazz
Country: Japan
Album Covers for their two Demos named First and Second, The first pic is the cover for Second while the one with the cute Jap chick is the cover for the Demo named First.

Amenra - Mass IIII
Artist: Amenra
Album: Mass IIII
Nationality: Kortrijk, Belgium
Genre: Sludge/post-Sludge
Yes, once more, Amenra. Now that you have listened to Mass III (you are ought to), you will probably have noticed that these guys aren't your everyday Sludge band. With this mindblowing record they 'experience' their own limits once again, adding slightly post-ish influences, drawing their lines even further. I have had the opportunity to attend the release gig of this. Not even Om, who were headlining, managed to drill the buzz out of my body. Connect to the music.

Amenra - Mass III
Artist: Amenra
Album: Mass III
Nationality: Kortrijk, Belgium
Genre: Sludge
Do not expect this sludge to be filthy, grimey or noisy. With this record, Amenra begins to swing in between the two 'waves' of sludge; the hardcore influences are still very noticeable, but influences from Neurosis and variants are undenyable. Warning; emotional music.
